Joanna Concejo was born in 1971 in Slupsk in Poland. She graduated in 1998 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. Since 1994 Concejo moved to France, in the Paris suburb where she lives and works. In the late eighties she began working as an illustrator and artist.
